This website has been born out of many of my personal travel & spiritual experiences, the "gifts" that I have been shown, the "messages" that I have been given & the "treasures" that I have been guided to pass along for purchase to you.

Travel happens in many ways- in the air, on the sea, on the land, through the third-eye & through the heart- These are my experiences. They continue. I've been guided to offer special items/services for purchase that have come from my personal experiences & education over the years.

Judy provides amazing healing services to her community. I have come to her over the past ten or so years for multiple beautiful offerings. Hi again & thank-you for reading my blogs- what will be shared at any given time -is what feels right in the moment -hopefully what I share is helpful, educational, enlightening & more.

This one is focused on what it takes to maintain & update a small business website -Mine

It also touches on "what you pay for when you purchase an item and more. I hope that you find this blog helpful & eye opening.

First up -I LOVE what I do - it's "not work" but it IS time consuming- anyone with their own small business will understand these words.

If I didn't LOVE what I do -I would not be doing it -simply put :) yet

Let's start with you- the customer- dear customers/clients -thank-you -because without you - I wouldn't possibly "need" a website -but let me list a few things that you pay for when you decide to purchase items from my website-( albeit potentially-depending on item, costs, etc.)

You may think-well I am purchasing/paying for "just the item" - answer -yes & no.

Small business owners-rarely get paid for ALL of their work-ok actually VERY rarely- because there are hundreds of hours in updating -maintaining, adding & removing items from (in this case ) my website as I do all of the "work"- hundreds of hours are spent at a computer (especially an online business) This is why one MUST love & be passionate about "the work"-as I am .

When you decide to buy an item- many many many steps are involved in you obtaining said item/s

Let's start - *the actual item" in this case -a tangible item

*the sourcing of said item" (Or creating them) emails, phone calls maybe , delivery to receiving location of item or materials to make that item.

*unpacking that box or boxes=time.

*list it on the website =time, taking pictures of item/s, uploading all pictures, weighing items as it's need for proper input online for shipping purposes etc

*post it on social media -more time

*creating the item/s if hand -designed/hand-created.

*packaging materials cost ( but I do reuse just about everything ) once item is sold- to you

*updating your order status online -

*If it doesn't sell in a "good amount " of time- more time to be spent of marketing it -marking it down ( not preferable) as small business always, always , always take a cost/profit hit.

*If /when it sells -off to the post office (ie gas & time) in all kinds of weather- unless it's a large package -it can be picked up by the delivery company etc.

*handling & re-handling items that are not selling =time = lots of time - to keep it updated- overseeing -the quality of said item/is it outpriced/overpriced/even underpriced (perceived value) all = time

The above are just "snippets" to give a birds-eye view into an item that eventually -gets sold.

I wanted to share this briefly an in respect of all that goes into running a small online business.
